About Us
Our company has been in the open end yarn market since 2001. Since the beginning we have been focused on using recycled materials to produce our yarns. On 2005, we moved to Bandung and built our first open end factory. At that time we were focused on making lower end open end yarns that were used to make towels, mops, working gloves, and other similar products. On 2007, we expanded our company and made another factory that is more focused on making better quality yarn but still focused on using recycled materials. That is how PT Bintang Indospin Industri started. On 2014, due to differences in vision between some of our minority owners, our first factory and second factory (PT Bintang Indospin Industri) split, with us taking PT Bintang Indospin Industri which was in line with our vision of making quality recycled yarns.
To be able to make quality yarns we needed to change our investment strategies. We want to continue to bring the best possible yarn while using recyled materials. With that vision in mind, we changed our strategy in buying machines. Before, we were using 2nd hand old machines to make our yarn. Now we focused on production efficiency and quality. That is why since 2017 onwards we decided to buy new machines like Autocoro 9 and C70 carding machines. We also bought contamination detector machine for our cotton yarn production to improve our quality even more. Until now we continue to grow and see how we can make better yarns for our customers. With over 20 years of experience, we hope that we will continue to give our customers quality yarns and with the world now more aware of environmental value, we will continue to keep our yarns environmentally friendly, continue to find better ways to use recycled materials and also keep away from chemicals that will harm our environment. Currently we are also in the process of adding solar panels to help supply electricity to our factory. Hopefully, if the government permits it, we would be able to depend 100% on solar energy.
When we started our journey in 2001, we focused on using textile waste to make our yarns. As time goes by, we realized that recycled materials can still make good quality yarn. That is why PT Bintang Indospin Industri's vision now is to provide our customers the best Recycled Open End Yarns and continue to support the 'go green' movement in order to make our world a better place for our future generations. We hope that with the continued support from our loyal customers we can make this wold a greener place.
